ABOUT ME

Osprey Point is David Reinhart's first novel. He has written numerous magazine articles on topics ranging from desert survival to computer design to aviation.

David's first magazine article was published when he was only 16 years old. He also did a short stint as reporter, writer, assistant managing editor and finally managing editor of a weekly newspaper in his home town of Barstow, California. The Mojave Valley Times didn't last very long, but it provided the young writer (he was only 18 at the time) a wealth of experience.

David is also a pilot, amateur radio operator and a prize winning amateur photographer. One of his favorite pastimes is sailing the waters of Penobscot Bay and the Gulf of Maine aboard one of the many schooners that sail out of Rockland and Camden, Maine.
